ARM PROCESSORS : what are they and how are they different from intel.

ARM is an interesting company that doesn't manufacture CPUs but only design them then the designs are sold to other companies like apple which make minor or major modifications (like when they first introduced the A11 Bionic chip with major modification to the ARM design). ARM generally makes 32 and 64 bit RISC architecture CPUs. They are known for their significantly less power consumption making them suitable for portable devices. The reason for less power consumption is the RISC (which stands for Reduced Instruction Set Computer) architecture. It only has very few necessary instruction set which allows the cpu to be smaller. Compared to this Intel's x86 cpus are made of CISC(Complex Instruction Set Computer) architecture. This means that those cpus has a longer list of instructions they can execute but that also means a bigger cpu and more power consumption. Recently there has been a trend of replacing even servers with ARM cpus for it's power efficiency as data

Digilocker | The digital safe

DigiLocker... Yes as the name suggest is a digital locker for you. Just like a physical locker you keep all your important documents in it and take out the one you need. So next time when you get pulled over by trafic police and you have forgotten your license at home all you need to do is pull up your phone (smartphone) and open up your license in your online locker. Is it that useful? well definitely to the tech savvy ones but the non tech savvy ones will have a hard time figuring it out. But the thing with digital "things" is they don't require too much of an investment and aren't really very costly to maintain so it's not really a bad thing either (unless it gets hacked and millions of confidential documents get stolen) . And yes they also save trees by saving paper! that's important that's seriously important!   So should you sign up today? if it's the weekend and you are sitting at home staring at the wall then go for it but as of now t

EMFLUX ONE: The Future is Here Emflux One is way ahead of its time, since whenever any thought of electric vehicle comes in our mind its about electric scooters or rickshaws, its never been about a Sports Bike. So, welcome to the future with India's first electric super bike- The Emflux one. It's developed by a startup in Bangalore. Varun Mittal- CEO and Co-founder of Emflux, started a company 2.5 yrs ago  Vinay Raj Somashekhar- Co-founder and chief designer at Emflux. Now Lets talk about its features: Power: 71 HP , Torque= 84 NM. Kerb Weight: 169 Kg. And for that weight, the availability of this amount of torque will definitely make it a way to go Super Bike. Acceleration: 0-100 Kmph in just 3 seconds making it faster than FERRARI 458. Top Speed: It has been designed to give an aggressive top speed of 200kmph. Comfort: Design may look like , it will have an aggressive accent but also making it comfortable since the rider&#

NVIDIA GRAPHICS cards naming format.

Image
People who are out in the market to buy graphics card are overwhelmed by the variety of different graphics cards made by nvidea. So NVIDIA graphics cards are mainly divided into two categories. 1. NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Cards 2. The AMD Radeon Cards 1. NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Cards.    The first part consists of GeForce and a name followed by it. The names are ordered below based on their power.   GeForce < GeForce GT < The GeForce GTX The second part consist of a number in two parts for example 1070 as in GeForce GTX 1070 here the first part 10 denotes the generation of the card and the higher is better. the second part 70 denotes how good the card is at it's job and generally it ranges from 60-90 again the higher the better for example a card GTX 1090 will perform better than GTX 1070. 2. The AMD Radeon Cards    The Radeon cards are cheaper and are not as good in quality as the GeForce cards also they have a fairly

MICROSOFT HOLOLENS 2-Will it bring the difference in world of MIXED REALITY? Microsoft initially launched the Hololens 1 , which was one of its own kind. But Microsoft didn't stop its urge to bring more definitions to the world of Mixed Reality. And thus they unveil the HOLOLENS 2, which is more sophisticated and better from Hololens in various ways. HoloLens 2 is more comfortable, has a large field of view and can detect real physical objects in the room. It features new components like Azure Kinect Sensor, an ARM Processor, an eye tracking sensor and a way different display system. It possess couple of speakers, the  visor flips up , an 8 MP front facing camera for video conferencing and can track what your hands are doing in a much better accuracy then the previous HoloLens. The Biggest issue of HoloLens 1 was that you can only saw the holograms in a relatively small box directly in front of you. Turn your head a little , the whole Hologram would have gone.

Why are boeing planes crashing

Image
Boeing's new plane (Boeing 737 max) has been involved in two major crashes 1. October 29, 2018: Lion Air Flight 610 2. March 10, 2019: Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 MCAS System M - Maneuvering  C - Characteristics  A - Augmentation  S - System    Now let's get to the real reason of the crashes. The MCAS system was there to prevent the nose from rising too high and stalling the plane.     But soon a major flaw was discovered in the system, event though the software was working perfectly fine the sensor wasn't reliable. There had been reports of pilots stating that the plane would nose down on it's own. The had no idea that it was because of the MCAS system because Boeing hadn't mentioned the MCAS system anywhere to support their statement which said that the upgrade was so simple that no extra training is required for the pilots. The suspected chain of events in the two crashes were that either the angle of attack sensor was f

WHAT IS MIXED REALITY? HOW ITS CHANGING THE WORLD? As the name suggests, it is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environment for visualizing and understanding various physical activities and how physical and digital objects interact in real time. It is the mix of reality and virtual reality- mixing augmented reality and augmented virtuality via various immersive and interfacing technology. As we can see in the above figure, Mixed Reality is the combination of Human Computer Interaction, Conventional Reality and Perception. The term Mixed Reality was originally introduced in a paper published by Paul Milgram and Fumio Kishnio " A Taxonomy of Mixed Reality Visual Displays" . Since then, the application of mixed reality goes beyond displays including environmental signals, human interaction , spatial sound and digital world. APPLICATION: From the very point of merging of mixed reality , its technology is enhancing for the bettermen
